I spent 4 months living in Florence Italy, studying under a master shoe maker. Though it may come as a surprise the vintage Americana style still permeates even our European neighbors. I found myself drawn to the look of the Nonnos who sat outside the cafe below my studio, looking fresh out of Ralph Lauren catalogue. The boots were crafted with them in mind, combining all my favorite elements into one unique look. The leather came out of an old family tannery, local to Firenze. The ultimate souvenir of my time, and a story of an American in Italia.
